About The Artist

Sarah Piper is an artist, teacher, and student.  She choses to see the world not for what it is, but what it can become.  Mud becomes beautiful vessels and paper and ink turn to striking imagery.  Her work often revolves around different memories as well as experiences had while traveling.

After graduating with her BFA from Florida State University she taught at several different art studios teaching a range of skills to both kids and adults.  Most recently she is running the ceramics program at Color Wheel, and volunteering as a Ranger at Mudfire where she makes her own work.
